Working in the auto repair industry, we’ve heard our share of accident nightmares. However, many of them are not even about the accident itself, but of the aftermath dealing with insurance companies and police reports. Much of the turmoil can be prevented by the collection of correct and vital information from the accident.
This form is a writable guide that contains information one should obtain in the event of an accident, as well as claim/roadside assistance numbers to the most common insurance companies. Print it out on any standard printer, fold it in three, and leave it in your glove compartment. Hopefully you’ll never have to see it again, but if you do end up finding yourself involved in an accident, you’ll be glad you spent the five minutes to prepare!
