When Coast Motor Werk was looking to open a new shop in South Orange County, Rancho Santa Margarita made a lot of sense. (And not just because the last word in the city’s name reminded us of a tasty weekend beverage.)
The city itself is only 15 years old, one of the youngest in Orange County, but that doesn’t bother us – Coast Motor Werk got started just 10 years ago ourselves. We knew that Rancho Santa Margarita was full of BMW and MINI Cooper drivers, and they could use a Dealership Alternative that offered premium maintenance and repair services at reasonable prices. What we learned, though, was that RSM is a great place to do more than just get your car fixed.
Things We Love about Serving Rancho Santa Margarita
1) Our Customers
Coast Motor Werk has only been in Rancho Santa Margarita for a few years now, but since Day One all of the local Bimmer and MINI Cooper enthusiasts welcomed us with open arms. Some of our customers for life followed us to our RSM location from Huntington Beach and Irvine, but all of the new faces became fast friends too. Speaking of friends, all Coast Motor Werk customers are invited to our annual Beer, Brats and BMWs event at CMW Huntington Beach in August! The event is free, but you’ll need to RSVP by clicking here.
2) The Community
This town is safe and family-friendly, and friendly in general. We appreciate that, since we try to be a friendly alternative to the local BMW and MINI dealership. And family is important – that’s why at Coast Motor Werk, Bring Your Dog To Work Day happens more often than you would expect.
3) The Parks
Rancho Santa Margarita has more than a dozen parks within the city limits alone, and plenty of hiking, biking and outdoors-ing can be done in the nearby Saddleback Mountains, especially on Holy Jim Trail. Even though we love getting around in an Ultimate Driving Machine, sometimes you need to get out and stretch your legs – RSM offers lots of opportunities to do that.
4) The View
Speaking of the mountains, they make quite the backdrop, don’t they?
