Customers keep coming back to Coast Motor Werk for a lot of reasons, but the most important is our mechanics. CMW only hires the top staff for each of our shops.
Across our OC locations, our technicians have more than 100 years’ combined experience with German engineering. Many members of our team are factory-trained master mechanics, and they are happy to lend their expertise to all of our customers.
You might think that this type of helpful collaboration would be common among mechanics – and at Coast Motor Werk, it is. At the dealership? Not so much.
The technicians at the dealership are paid on commission, just like the salesmen. This means that the mechanics are competing with each other for work, which isn’t very helpful. And since more money on your bill means more money in their pocket, dealership mechanics are always looking for ways to add more parts and labor to your work order.
Coast Motor Werk was created to be the antidote for these types of policies. Our mechanics are paid on salary, not commission, so they have no reason to compete with each other or do anything less than the best possible job on your car.
If you come in for Audi air conditioner repair, we’ll fix your Audi’s air conditioner, not try to sell you a new transmission. Of course, if we do find something else that your car needs, we can fix it – but we’ll be sure to tell you about it first, and we’ll even save the old parts so you can see what went wrong.
